Economic Impact Assessment

THE PROJECT

Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) is a 85,000 sqm waterfront precinct with purpose-built conference, exhibition, and meeting spaces with six multifunction exhibition pavilions, a 2,500-person theatre room, and a 1,700-person ballroom. The owner required an economic impact assessment as support for their long-term redevelopment proposal to the State Government, facility operator Spotless Group, the City of Perth, and the Perth Transport Authority.

DELIVERABLES

  • Development of timeline, assumptions & inputs (including multipliers)

  • Economic impacts of proposed PCEC expansion, and

  • Western Australia Government policies review & comment on potential impact (positive or negative) for the PCEC expansion.
